On the App Store, TikTok topped the list with about 37 million downloads. The app, which topped Apple's store for five consecutive quarters, had lost its post to YouTube in the latest survey. Among the fastest-growing apps are Netflix, which moved back into the top ten and up 23% from the last survey, and PinDuoDuo, the Chinese e-commerce app that climbed three positions.
In the Google Play Store, WhatsApp topped the ranking with over 156 million downloads. In addition to the messenger, Messenger, TikTok and Facebook, they reached over 120 million installations, and Likee, a video editing and filtering app with 80 million downloads.
