Every Thursday Apple picks one Movie of the week iTunes Store, whose purchase (even at 4K / HDR, depending on production) comes R $ 9.90.

The title selected this time was "Glass"with James McAvoy, Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson, directed by the acclaimed M. Night Shyamalan.

Check out his trailer:

Here's the synopsis of the movie:

After the completion of "Fragmented" (2017), Kevin Crumb (James McAvoy), the man with 23 different personalities, is pursued by David Dunn (Bruce Willis), the hero of "Closed Body" (2000). The cat-and-mouse game between the unbreakable man and the Beast influenced by the presence of Elijah Price (Samuel L. Jackson), who manipulates their encounters and keeps secrets about them.

As usual, our reader Renato Alan Promenzio (@tripalavra), who is a cameraman, also sent us a personalized comment about the movie:

To speak of "Glass" as a puzzle piece, since the films of this trilogy intertwine in their stories but not in their names. Closed Body, the first film in the franchise, came out and had a warm reception. Critics still charged Shyamalan with the same success of his first movie with Bruce Willis. Sixteen years later, Fragmentado arrived in theaters without pretense and with the brilliant performance of James McAvoy (which, by the way, deserved more recognition), great receptivity of critics, low budget and profitable return. That was the reason for the existence of “Glass”: to finish the puzzle with a good script, great cast and finally deliver the trilogy so dreamed by its director. Does that mean it's over? No, but I believe it fits another series in some service of streaming than one more movie. Do I need to watch the first two movies before this one? Yes! But you can watch the first two in any order, because they were made with their own life and connection points that don't necessarily intertwine in a way that you don't understand what's going on. Funny, isn't it? Welcome to the world of Shyamalan!
