Instagram launched a new filter on Stories in commemoration of the month of black culture in the United States on Tuesday (12). The drawings are inspired by African paintings and signify luck, community, luxury and bravery. The social network has also released the hashtag #ShareBlackStories to gather the images and videos created with the filter and share stories of appreciation of black culture. The news is available for all Android and iPhone (iOS) users.
In the following tutorial, check out how to enable and use the filter to celebrate African culture in Instagram Stories. The procedure was performed on an iPhone 8 with iOS 12, but the tips also apply to Google system users. Step 1. Open the Instagram Stories camera and tap the filter icon in the bottom right corner of the screen;

Step 2. In the filter gallery, look for the yellow circle icon. The name of the new Instagram filter "mud cloth". Use the buttons just above the photo button to toggle between the filter options: good luck, community, luxury and bravery;

Step 3. After taking a photo or recording a video, you can add stickers, freehand drawings and texts. When you're done, tap "Your Story" to add the image directly to your story, or "Send To" to select specific friends.
