Apple Remote app gets update, compatible with iPad and Retina display

Blog do iPhone

Today Apple released an update to the long-forgotten application Remote. The launch was two years ago (see our review) and since then, no major updates have been released, even with the arrival of the iPad and the Retina display. Now, Apple redeems itself, taking advantage of the launch of AppleTV and making version 2.0 available. The icon is new, but anyone who is a reader of the iPhone Blog already knew it: look at you, it is exactly the same one found by us and presented first hand this morning.

All in Portuguese, it controls iTunes or AppleTV directly on the device. You can play music, movies, create playlists, all sitting on the couch. For parties, it is very practical, making it possible to control everything directly on the iPhone (if you are the DJ, of course). There is also the possibility of those who are on the same network, also with an iOS device, to suggest songs and point out favorites.

If you didn’t know him, the suggestion is to watch our video from two years ago, while we don’t make a new one. ?

The application Remote is available for free on the App Store (link) and is compatible with iOS 3.1.2 or later, on iPhones, iPads and iPods touch.
