Zenfone 5z running Android 9 Pie appears in benchmark test

A few days ago we brought the news that Zenfone 5z was receiving a major update, with numerous improvements and several new features. Now, it seems that soon Asus's newly launched top line in Brazil may receive another important update.

In a leak from Geekbench (an application that measures the performance of a smartphone), you can see Asus's smartphone running Android 9 Pie. Still according to the images you can see the results of the device performance with the latest version of the Google operating system.

The score itself in this test shows results below expectations, falling behind the numbers obtained by the device when the test was performed in the previous version of Android. With this, we understand that the Taiwanese company is making adjustments and implementing Android 9 Pie next to the smartphone. It is also worth remembering that Asus has its own interface, ZenUI, which makes the task a bit more complicated.

However, even without Asus confirming when the new system will be available to users, it is interesting to see the company's commitment to Android updates. Now, just a little patience remains for you, dear reader who owns a Zenfone 5z.

And you think Asus is more committed to updating their smartphones?
