Zemno docking station adds a host of new connections to your MacBook Pro

Using the notebook on a table, it is common that we need to keep more things connected to it to work, but still many people feel limited by the amount of connections found in MacBooks. With that in mind, Zemno has developed a new model of docking station which perfectly suits Apple's professional notebooks with up to 15 inches, but the first to allow not only the connection of additional peripherals, but also HDs and external batteries.

Zemno docking station

Created by Zemno itself, ModBay technology adds docking station two extra slots, where hard drives, batteries or other compatible peripherals can be installed. The minimalist design allows them to be properly accommodated without disturbing your work, and can be kept in the same place even when you are storing the accessory to leave wherever you are with your MacBook Pro.

In addition, the product adds several extra connections: there are seven USB 2.0, three FireWires 800, one FireWire 400, Ethernet, DVI, two eSATA ports (one for data and one for power) and audio input / output. If you want to have more options for memory cards by hand, a reader with support for several models is also included.

Even being developed for MacBooks Pro, the new docking station from Zemno supports any notebook with up to 15 inches, occupying a USB and a FireWire 800 on the computer. It can now be ordered for $ 500 and is scheduled for delivery in January 2010.
