You can now delete WhatsApp messages up to 4.096 seconds after they have been sent

A few days ago, a small update of the WhatsApp Messenger who simply repeated the changelog from the previous version, that is, hinted to bring some general bug fixes.

But @WABetaInfo discovered that there is an important change brought about by him: a new term for users delete sent messages remotely, that is, so that they are also erased on other devices.

When this feature was launched in October last year, the deadline was just 7 minutes. Now, it got a lot bigger: 1 hour, 8 minutes and 16 seconds.

The number sounds weird, but it makes sense programmatically speaking. It is equivalent to 2 ^ 12, that is, exact 4.096 seconds. šŸ¤“

The news is already valid for everyone running WhatsApp 2.18.31 for iPhone.
