Huami, the company that makes the Xiaomi Mi Band line wearables, announced the launch date of the Amazfit Ares, its next smartwatch. On its official page on the social network Weibo, the company revealed that the presentation of the smart watch will take place on May 19, next Tuesday.
In addition to bringing the launch date of the product, Huami also displayed an image of the smart watch from the front. The model will have a more rustic design, with silicone bracelets and colored fabric.

The manufacturer also revealed that the device has 70 modes of use dedicated to sports. With this, the user will be able to choose a type of mapping and have more accurate data on the physical activity he is performing.

The product's hardware has not yet been revealed, but the manufacturer confirmed that the Amazfit Ares has professional Firstbeat tracking and is able to measure VO2 Max, maximum oxygen volume. Huang Wang, Huami's CEO, also revealed that the product will be sold in at least two colors: black and green.
While we don't have any more news about the Amazfit Ares smart watch, check out the alleged leaked images of the Mi Band 5. In April, Huami denied rumors that the bracelet was not being manufactured and confirmed that the product will be launched in 2020 by Xiaomi. A date for the arrival of the product, however, has not yet been released by the two companies.
