As promised, Xiaomi announced the launch of its new AIoT AX3600 router. This model supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard is available in China for 599 yuan (about $ 85). The new Xiaomi router comes equipped with the Qualcomm A53 chip with four cores and clocked at 1GHz, 512MB of RAM and 256MB of flash memory for storage. It has seven external antennas, two for the 2.4GHz frequency, four for the 5GHz frequency and one exclusive for IoT (Internet of Things or Internet of Things).
The router offers speeds of up to 2,402Mbps at 5GHz and up to 574Mbps at 2.4GHz for a combined total speed of 2,976Mbps.
The Xiaomi AIoT AX3600 features four Gigabit Ethernet ports (1 x WAN and 3 x LAN), support for OFDMA and MU-MIMO technologies, and support for WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK and WPA3-SAE security protocols. OFDMA technology makes it possible to transmit data to several devices simultaneously more efficiently.
