Unsurprisingly, Xiaomi has a wide range of devices, despite being well known by smartphones, the company launches products of the most varied every month. The latest addition is a printer that generates images that can be viewed in augmented reality using the smartphone. When printing, a code that can be read by the mobile phone is generated to give 3 to 60 second movement of the printed image.

The printer is co-funded on the Xiaomi fan site YouPin, and the compact device name Jiyin Gramophone Photo Printer is 20.5 x 12.4 x 8.5 cm in size and weighs only 1, 4kg. So far, it is only available in China for RMB 699 (~ R $ 411) and, according to Xiaomi, can generate up to 40 300 dpi photos.
To ensure product quality, Xiaomi says it has used a distinctive coating that fades proof, a very common effect on photographs on traditional papers. It also promises to remove rust and fingerprints, all to facilitate not only preservation, but also handling.
Although not a great revolution, it is still a cool idea with a very innovative effect.
While launching its varied products, Xiaomi keeps the investments in the smartphone sector, bringing news also to the mobile phones. The world's fourth largest maker has recently filed a patent for a smartphone with an extendable screen that can be magnified 100%.
