Xiaomi introduced the Mi Router AX1800 in China, its newest router supporting the WiFi 6 standard connection. The device has a tower format, supported vertically, and has a dual band connection, devices can connect to it via networks 2.4GHz and 5GHz. Its antennas are hidden, which contributes to a different look.
Despite having no apparent antennas, Xiaomi guarantees that the AX1800 has excellent coverage, using high-performance amplifiers Qorvo, promising an increase in signal strength by 4dB, which increases the coverage radius by about 50%.
Another great highlight of the device is in its operating mode, it uses mesh connection (better explained in this article), which allow smarter connectivity between several access points spread around the environment. Within the AX1800, managing all of these specifications, there is a Qualcomm IPQ6000 processor, which has four 1.2 GHz cores and a neural processing unit.
Another promise is in data delivery for online games, Xiaomi has added a system called the Tencent Online Game Accelerator, promising to optimize network performance for PC, video games and other connected laptops. Xiaomi's new router will cost 329 yuan (~ R $ 269) in its launch, but whoever purchases it in pre-sale will have a discount, paying 299 yuan (~ R $ 244).
