Xiaomi Black Shark 3 to be made official on March 3

Black Shark, a subsidiary of Xiaomi, launched its first smartphone aimed at the gamer audience in 2018, having introduced three other models in a row that caught the attention of consumers for delivering cutting-edge specifications and interesting features for those who love spending hours playing games.

Now, we know that Black Shark intends to launch its next gamer smartphone soon: the Black Shark 3. Through a post on Weibo, Lei Jun, Xiaomi's CEO, revealed that this device will be made official on March 3.

In addition, Black Shark 3 will also be the first to bring the brand new logo, recently announced. The company redesigned the "S", which for those who don't know, represents two swimming sharks. Now, we can notice that the simpler logo, leaving aside the very strong neon green previously adopted to bet on something cooler.

Information points out that the next Xiaomi gamer smartphone will have a 5,000 mAh battery, which has more than 800 charge cycles and support for 65W fast charging, allowing you to "fill" the battery completely in just 38 minutes.

Also expected is an AMOLED display with 2K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, as well as the Snapdragon 865 processor, combined with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.0 storage. In software, MIUI 11 based on Android 10 must be factory installed. Xiaomi should also add support for dual band 5G.

Considering that Black Shark announced a partnership with Tencent last month, it is quite likely that the new smartphone from the brand will deliver exclusive features geared towards gamers, it remains to be seen which ones will be.
