Xbox Games Showcase features Fable, Halo Infinite, Forza Motorsport and more! Know everything about the event

The presentation of the Xbox Series X games featured major titles and the return of Fable

After much waiting and anxiety, the Xbox division finally presented its event focused on games for, mainly, the next generation of consoles and the coming Xbox Series X. However, information regarding the video game has not been revealed.

Presented by Phil Spencer and company, the pre-recorded event was a delight for brand lovers, with games like Halo Infinite, the triumphant return of Fable, Everwild and more!

The Pr-Show

Before the official event started, Geoff Keighley, creator of The Game Awards, presented an animated pre-show with some guests, like the famous Ninja streamer. Among the novelties, we can highlight:

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age

The famous RPG series hits Xbox and GamePass on December 4th. The game comes in a definitive version also for PC and PS4.

Exomecha

It’s a new free game with giant robots, massive battles, and a Battle Royale, which arrives in 2021 also for the PC. You can sign up for the beta phase on the official website.

Watch Dogs Legion

After winning a trailer on Ubisoft Forward, the third game in the Watch Dogs franchise received a new video revealing more about the resistance and what to expect from the oppressive London in which we will play. Legion arrives on October 29 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The Series X version is also confirmed.

Echo Generation

With a “Stranger Things” vibe, Echo Generation is a game of turns and adventure produced by the Canadian stadium Cococumber. The title arrives in 2021.

Hello Neighbor 2

Following a great success in 2017, Hello Neighbor 2 reach the entire Xbox family in the future.

Balon Wonderworld

Halo Infinite

As expected, Halo Infinite marked an absurd presence at the Xbox presentation. Starting the event, in addition to fabulous cinematics and a real-time gameplay trailer, Infinite will have an open world and Master Chief will count on the help of a hook to get around. Halo Infinite arrives at the end of the year on Xbox One, Series X and PC, through the Windows Store and Steam.

State of Decay 3

With a beautiful CGI, Undead Labs announced the third game in its zombie franchise. Additional details such as launch date or platforms have not been revealed.

Forza Motorsport

One of the great unanimities of this digital event was, absolutely, the return of the Forza Motorsport franchise after a brief hiatus. The new chapter of this excellent saga is in the hands of Turn 10 Studios and will be a reboot, with a dynamic world, support for Ray Tracing and reaching only the Series X. There is no confirmed launch date.

Fable

After years of rumors and speculation, Playground Games has finally revealed that it is working on a reboot of the iconic franchise, bringing Fable for the new generation of consoles. Additional information was not shown, but the game arrives on Xbox One, Series X and PC.

Everwild

Everwild is the next game from Rare and won an incredibly beautiful trailer. The game will only reach Series X, but has no release date set yet.

Hellblade 2

Long awaited, Hellblade 2 has not won big news in the Xbox Games ShowcaseThe sequence of Senua's history was not as prominent in the presentation

Although there was no trailer revealed, Ninja Theory detailed that the game is 100% developed on Unreal Engine 5 and set in Iceland. After the broadcast, a behind-the-scenes documentary on the geographic choice of the country became available. Check it out below:

Psychonauts 2

Since the acquisition of Double Fine, Psychonauts 2 has become an illustrious presence at Xbox events. The title won a small trailer with actor and singer Jack Black, who recorded one of the game's songs.

Avowed

After announcing an expansion of The Outer Worlds, Obsidian has finally unveiled its next RPG: a medieval first-person game. For now there are not many details about the project, but it should only come out for Series X.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2

Extremely popular with PC gamers, Stalker puts us in the shoes of a hunter in a haunted Chermobyl. The first person horror game arrives at the launch of the Series X, which has yet to be confirmed.

Crossfire X

Popularly known for his free version on the PC, Crossfire win a robust sequence, entitled to a campaign developed by Remedy Entertainment (Alan Wake, Control). The game comes to Xbox One and Series X at the end of the year.

Developed by Dontnod (Life is Strange), the game is an adventure set in Alaska, to be released by episodes, and the first arrives on August 27 for the Xbox One and PC.

The Medium

Announced in the latest Inside Xbox, The Medium is strongly inspired by the classic Silent Hill franchise, which places our protagonist in a parallel between the world of the living and the dead, surrounded by demonic entities. The game arrives for the Series X on launch day.

More optimized games

Microsoft has confirmed that several titles are being specially optimized for the Series X, such as Ori and The Will of The Wisps and Gears 5. In addition, you will have no additional cost to play them on the upcoming console.

Grounded

Obsidian was one of the stadiums that was most present in the presentation. The producer revealed a new trailer for Grounded, a game in which we will control characters with extremely small sizes in the backyard, in the best style Honey, I shrunk the kids. The title arrives in early access to Xbox Preview users on July 28.

The Outer Worlds: Peril on Gorgon

In partnership with Microsoft, SEGA announced Phantasy Star Online 2 for 2021 for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Switch. Additional details have yet to be revealed.

The Gunk

From the same creators of Steamworld, The Gunk an adventure game that puts us on an alien planet, with many enemies and different puzzles to solve. The title arrives for the entire family of Microsoft consoles and the PC, but has no release date.

Tetris Effect: Connected

Following a great success in recent years, Tetris Effect: Connected will be available at the launch of Series X, for One and PC, arriving directly at the Game Pass.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide

From the same creators of Vermintide, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide was announced with a beautiful cinematic trailer and a cooperative multiplayer for up to 4 players, arriving in 2021 on consoles, PCs and also on the Game Pass.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light

Destiny 2 It is already a very confirmed presence in video game events, and while the game is being optimized for the Series X, the game won a new trailer for the Beyond Light expansion, which launches on September 10. The title is currently available for Xbox One, PS4, PC and will also launch in September on Game Pass.

The Dusk Falls
