WWDC 2017: Apple opens registration for ticket and scholarship draw

If you were looking forward to signing up for the next big event for Apple developers, Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2017, the wait is over. Anyone interested can now register for the event on this link, until 2 pm on Friday (3/31).

WWDC 2017 ticket

Those who sign up will go through a lottery process, in which the selected will gain the possibility to purchase the ticket, which costs as usual $ 1,600. Apple had to switch to this system when tickets for the event, which holds about 5,000 people, sold out very quickly. Thus, it gives equal chances to everyone interested in participating.

It is worth remembering that, in order to register, I must be a member of the Apple Developer Program or the Apple Developer Enterprise Program, with accounts created until February 16, 2017. Students will also be able to apply in order to win scholarships. The prerequisites are the same, in addition to having to be 13 years old or older.

WWDC 2017 will be held this year in San Jose (California, United States), at the McEnery Convention Center. The event will take place from June 5 to 9, bringing great news to Ma's four operating systems: iOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS.
