The World Cup receives a tribute from Google, this Tuesday (19th), with six different Doodles from the countries that play on the sixth day of the championship. The illustrations alternate with each other and appear every time the search page is updated. The drawings represent the nations facing each other today: Colombia and Japan (departure which takes place at 9 am, in the time of Braslia), Poland and Senegal (which compete at noon), and Russia and Egypt (last game of the day, at 3 pm ).
The special series of Doodles, created by Google, was created by illustrators native to the countries that compete in the 2018 World Cup. Today, artists Diego Cadena Bejarano (Colombia), Shinji Tsuchimochi (Japan), witosaw "Slawek" Fedorczuk (Poland ), Pamplemus (Senegal), Arina Shabanova (Russia) and Shennawy (Egypt) are responsible for illustrating what football means to their countries. The project aims to celebrate the richness of cultural diversity and the talent of the 32 nations participating in the World Cup.

The Doodle from Poland, made by witosaw "Slawek" Fedorczuk, shows people of different ages watching the game on TV. In a picture in the house, there is the image of players on a soccer field, highlighting a young man holding the ball. This young man, now elderly, no longer plays and just follows the match. According to Fedorczuk, football connects fans of all generations, from children to old age.

Pamplemus illustrates Senegal with people singing and playing instruments on boats and others vibrating inside a vehicle. The ball is represented by a lion, symbol of the country, in the colors of the flag. It is in the sand and positioned in the center of the drawing. For the artist, people usually play football on the beach, at night, with the family and talk about the games.
