The World Cup matches on Wednesday (27) are illustrated on the Google homepage, in the form of commemorative doodles. The drawings show the eight teams that face each other today, in the third round of the group stage, including Brazil, which has a match against Serbia at 3 pm (Brasilia time). Completing group E, Sua and Costa Rica also play at the same time. In group F, Mexico faces Sweden, while South Korea and Germany compete in the competition at 11am.
Throughout the World Cup, Google presents, on its home page, the meaning of football according to different cultures. For this, Gigante de Buscas has partnered with native artists from the 32 participating countries. Today's drawings were created by Pedro Vergani (Brazil), Elizabeth Argello (Costa Rica), Sua Balac (Germany), Valeria Alvarez (Mexico), Bratislav Milenkovic (Serbia), Subin Yang (South Korea), Linnea Sterte (Sweden) ) and Chragi Frei (Suca). The Brazilian Doodle was designed in green and yellow. The illustration shows a football game, in a street with many trees, and a player about to kick the goal, in addition to many excited and eager fans. It is possible to see children, the elderly, a dog carrying a whistle in the mouth, a waiter, people drinking coconut water in a beach hut and even an electric company employee watching the game. The artist says that football in Brazil is an expression of an important part of our culture; art, rhythm, dance, hard work, team work and a hint of arrogance.

A football match accompanied by a sausage party and barbecue marks the Serbian Doodle. In the drawing, there is a boy in the field, kicking a ball, a dog, a band playing lively music and people cheering with flags and confetti and others.
