With beta 2 in the area, let's go to our fifth compiled of iOS 10 screenshots!

After a “long” wait, Apple released the second beta version of iOS 10 for developers.

While the first one was in our hands, we published here on the website four (!) Compiled from screenshots to show you all the news that come up there: 1, 2, 3, 4. We also already published one of macOS Sierra, another one with things from tvOS 10, as well as one from watchOS 3.

Next we bring you our fifth wave of iOS 10 including not only news from beta 2, but also some details that were missing from the first.

Furthermore:

  • There is a slightly different animation when we leave apps back from the Home screen.
  • By tapping the status bar you go to the top of the notifications, a behavior that was absent in the first beta.
  • Apple again credited The Weather Channel at the bottom of the Notification Center for weather reports.
  • News is now one of the apps that can be “deleted” by the user.
  • The keyboard sound is the same as before.
  • When restoring iCloud backups, you can use 3D Touch over icons of certain apps to prioritize downloading them.
  • “E a, Siri” now activates only one device at a time that is next to another.
