The latest Windows 10 update, the October 2018 Update, would be causing the dreaded blue screen on HP computers. The error was confirmed by Microsoft last Friday (12) and is due to a compatibility problem with the HP keyboard driver (version 11.0.3.1) with editions 1803 of 1809 of the operating system. In addition to identifying the error, the company, in partnership with the computer manufacturer, has already developed a solution for the bug. "On October 11, Microsoft removed the driver from Windows Update to reduce the number of affected devices. In addition, we released KB 4468304 to remove the incompatible driver for devices pending a restart. HP is actively working on this issue," he announced. in an official statement.

According to the person responsible for the software, the update will be made available automatically on Windows Update. However, anyone who does not want to wait can find it in the Microsoft Update Catalog by typing "KB4468304" in the search field.
