Even the most ardent WhatsApp users already know that there are more resourceful alternatives, and the advantage of the giant messenger almost boils down to just being giant (with almost a billion active users). With the last silent update of WhatsApp, links to Telegram began to be blocked. Messages containing links still appear, but not as hyperlinks, and cannot be copied and pasted. Thus, to send Telegram links I must manually enter the URL in the browser.
