Why the hell does the Superior Court of Justice need 12 (!) IMacs with Retina 5K screens set up to the stalk?

Pea is a bad thing, my friends, but there is something worse to swallow.

As reported by TIME just yesterday, the Superior Justice Tribunal just decided to spend R $ 339,000 (three hundred and thirty-nine thousand reais) to acquire 12 “Apple computers”.

And do you know what computers these are?

iMac configured right up to the stem

The description of the bidding makes it very clear if they are iMacs with Retina 5K screen configured to the stem, that is, the current top-of-the-line custom model with an Intel Core i7 processor quad-core 4GHz, 32GB RAM, AMD Radeon R9 M395X graphics card with 4GB and even the AppleCare Protection Plan.

They just do not specify storage, citing a minimum of 256GB of flash memory, but the final bill only matches if we configure the iMac with a maximum of 1TB. We reached an individual value of R $ 30,198, very close to the average of R $ 28,250 of the total purchase (basic discount).

Also according to TIME, the choice of this model was due to it offering “the best performance in editing high resolution images”. Then, I ask you: since when did STJ become a professional multimedia producer? Are you producing documentaries worthy of Oscars about the countless maracutas that happen in our country?…

Heh.
