The protests by truck drivers stem from Petrobrasâ pricing policy, which came into force in July and has since raised the value of diesel in the country.
With the stoppage, the supply of gas stations, as well as the sectors of food, health, transportation, among others, were affected.
The price of gasoline today varies between R $ 2.10 and R $ 10 at gas stations in the country.
The category asks that diesel tax charges be removed and for exemption from CIDE (Contribution for Intervention in the Economic Domain) in order to reduce the price.
So far, there has been no agreement with the government.
