WhatsApp will no longer work on iOS 7 iPhones by 2020

Maintain a cross-platform service like WhatsApp Messenger It is not simple. This is what the company has done now by announcing a new wave of devices / systems that will no longer be supported in the not too distant future. In the case of iOS, iPhones running the 7th version of the system will stop working from February 1, 2020.

Check out the full list of devices / systems that are no longer supported:

  • Nokia Symbian S60: after 30/7/2017
  • BlackBerry and BlackBerry 10: after 31/12/2017
  • Nokia S40: 12/31/2018
  • Windows Phone: 12/31/2019
  • Android 2.3.7 (Gingerbread): after 1/2/2020
  • iOS 7: after 1/2/2020

So, the warning: if you have an iPhone 4, you're stuck on iOS 7 and won't be able to use WhatsApp, you have until early next year to change iPhone. Or if you have another model but still running iOS 7 by some factor, you will necessarily have to upgrade to the latest version compatible with the device.
