WhatsApp Web – Update to version 0.2.35.71
From version 0.2.35.71 it is already possible to access media files, links and documents by clicking on the contact information. The process is very similar to what we do on mobile, just click on the name of the contact, or group, in a chat.
Options include bookmarking data (as in the app version), deleting and forwarding multiple links and documents. The news comes as much for the browser service as for the desktop.
The update comes at a good time, as WhatsApp Web was lagging far behind its competitors such as Telegram and Skype.

To find out if you have the latest version of WhatsApp Web, simply access your profile settings:
- Click on the menu click on the main menu of your profile (three dots icon at the top left);
- Now click on Settings> Help;
- Okay, you will see the version number as it appears in the image below.

WhatsApp Web: How to access the service
To connect your browser to the WhatsApp web client, go to https://web.whatsapp on your browser. You will see a QR code. On your phone, just launch the WhatsApp app and click on the main screen menu (three dots icon at the top right). That done, click on "WhatsApp Web". Scan the QR code using your cell phone camera and you're done.
Keep in mind that your phone must not be turned off to work. The web login is extremely fast and you can now set your phone aside!
