WhatsApp starts releasing group calls to all users

At its last F8 conference in May, Facebook announced that “soon” the WhatsApp Messenger would gain support for group voice and video calls in his case, up to four people.

Finally, the feature is now being released to iOS and Android users worldwide. Like text messages themselves, all calls are encrypted from end to end.

To make a group call, simply start an individual one normally and then tap the “add participants” button in the upper right corner to add whoever you want among your contacts.

curious that this is coming to WhatsApp now, considering that iOS 12 finally brings group video calls to FaceTime as well. Only, in the case of the Apple system, with support for up to 32 (!) Simultaneous participants.

Skype to take care
