Facebook has just released version 2.12.1 of WhatsApp Messenger for iPhone, bringing some good news the main one, calls! The feature has been rolling for Android users for quite some time.
Call your friends and family for free using WhatsApp, even if they are in another country. The WhatsApp Connection uses your internet connection instead of your minute plan.
According to the release notes of the app, although the feature is already implemented in this version it will be activated gradually for all users, over the next few weeks.
Today's update also brings a new sharing extension for iOS 8 making it easy to share photos, videos and links to WhatsApp from other apps, new camera quick access button, edit contacts within WhatsApp and support for sending multiple video files (you can cut and rotate them before sending).
WhatsApp Messenger 2.12.1 is now available to everyone on the App Store.
