Wemoji is a free app that can create stickers for use on WhatsApp. Available on Android phones, the user can select images from the gallery, crop, add emojis and text and create packages with as many stickers as they want. All content created on the platform must be imported by the messenger to be sent to their friends via chat. The tool is useful for those interested in customizing their conversations with unique images and trying out new ways to express themselves on the social network.
In the following tutorial, check out how to use the Wemoji app to create your own WhatsApp stickers on Android. The procedure was performed on a Moto E5 Plus with Android 8.0 Oreo, but the tips also apply to other devices with the Google operating system. It is noteworthy that the platform is not available on the App Store, Apple's official iPhone application store (iOS).

Step 1. Install Wemoji on your phone from the TechTudo page. When opening the app for the first time it will be necessary to grant permission for the software to access the camera and files from the phone. On the app's home screen, tap "Create Sticker";

Step 2. Go to "+" and select a photo on your phone. Then frame the object you want to turn into a sticker and tap "Crop" in the upper right corner;

Step 3. Drag your finger around the object you want to cut. For ease, use the "Zoom" function to enlarge the image. After tracing the outline, tap "Crop". Set the level of edge smoothing with the stroke positioned on the adjustment bar and tap "Save";

Step 4. If desired, use the dots to enlarge, shrink or rotate the image. The buttons at the top of the screen are used to erase, duplicate, mirror and adjust exposure, brightness and contrast;

Step 5. In the buttons below, you can crop new images, add photos, emojis and texts. After making the desired editions, tap "Save" in the upper right corner of the screen;

Step 6. Confirm saving the sticker in "Yes". Then go to "+" to create a new sticker package;

Step 7. Enter a title for the package and the name of the author, then go to "Save". Back previous screen, tap on the name of the created package. Repeat the above process to create new stickers and add them to your package;

Step 8. Now on the Wemoji Home screen, tap "My Stickers". Then tap the "+" button to the right of the created package name. Finally, confirm the installation of the stickers in "Add";

Step 9. To access the images, open a WhatsApp conversation and tap on the left smiley cone of the text field. Finally, open the sticker tab and tap the package icon at the top. Choose the sticker and tap it to have it automatically sent to chat.
