A few tricks in WhatsApp allow the user to find out which contacts have their number saved in the phonebook.

The transmission list feature is the most effective and should doubt who has kept your number or not.

Other methods may be used as a guide only, such as not having access to profile picture, status or last seen.

The transmission list is a function of WhatsApp that allows the user to choose various contacts to which they want to send the same message outside a group.

Only people who have their number saved on their own phone receive the content.

Therefore, to doubt if a contact has saved or your number, just create one of these lists, send a message and check if the person received it.

Create a Transmission List

One of the most effective ways to find out if another contact has your number saved on the phone through the transmission list.

Step 1.

On the WhatsApp main page, click on the menu represented by the three dots in the upper right corner and select the New Transmission option;

Step 2.

Select from your contact list all the users you believe do not have their number saved, and others you are sure they have.

This way you can be sure that the procedure worked correctly.

After selecting all desired contacts, click the green button in the lower right corner;

Step 3.

All these contacts will be placed in a set, in which you must send the message you want.

After sending the message, select it and click the button that informs the content data;

Step 4.

On this page, you can see which contacts have read or received your message.

If a person you have put on the transmission list does not appear in the lists mentioned above, it may mean that they do not have their number saved in the phone book.

Remember, however, that the phone does not receive the content if it is without signal or in airplane mode.

Therefore, to be sure, it is advisable to send a message in the private conversation and check if the contact received the content.

If the transmission list message is undeliverable and the private message arrives at the recipient, it does not have your contact.

In WhatsApp settings, you can choose that only your contacts can see the profile picture in the app.

Therefore, not being able to see a person's profile picture may indicate that they do not have their number saved in their calendar.

However, there are other reasons that explain the lack of cone which makes this method only indicative and not a way to be sure.

Not Having Access to Published Status

Another indication that a contact does not have their number saved in the phonebook of their smartphone will not be able to see this person's Status.

However, just as in the profile picture, there are other reasons why it may not be possible to access a user's status.
