WhatsApp Beta for iPhone releases unlock by Face ID; know how to use | Social networks

WhatsApp launched this Friday (1) the unlock by face recognition, exclusive for iPhone users (iOS). The feature, called Apple's Face ID, is only available for the beta version of the messenger on the iPhone X, XR, XS and XS Max models. The new feature was expected and arrives as a security enhancement for the app. This way, users can register their own face as an access key for shared messages in the app. Feature activation is at the discretion of the user and can be done from the platform settings.

Also new is the Touch ID unlock via fingerprint, which is available for models that do not have Face ID ie from iPhone 5S to iPhone 8/8 Plus. To learn how to enable the facial recognition function in the WhatsApp trial version, check out the step by step below. Remember that the Beta service may present instability or bugs to ordinary users because it is not the final variant of the messenger.
