What's New Coming: New Magic Mouse and Wireless Keyboard Appear in FCC Documents [atualizado]

The current wireless mouse and keyboard from Apple were launched in a long time 2009. To give you an idea, both use Bluetooth 2.0, a specification already "outdated". It seems that we will finally see news coming soon, at least according to some documents found at the FCC (Federal Communications Commission, or Federal Communications Commission, American agency equivalent to ANATEL).

Magic Mouse 2

As we can see in the image above, Apple plans to call the new mouse by Magic Mouse 2. Apart from that, unfortunately it is not possible to see major changes in the design of the products, neither the mouse nor the keyboard.

However, the 9to5Mac stated that at least internally we will have a big change: the use of Bluetooth 4.2 LE (Low energy), which is faster, safer and more efficient (energetically speaking). In addition, the document indicates that the Magic Mouse 2 will have an internal lithium ion battery, abandoning the use of two AA batteries as it currently does.

No references of this battery were found on the keyboard, but that does not mean that it will remain the same, using batteries. There is also the possibility that it has some specific keys to be used with iPads, since iOS 9 brings good changes in this regard. A "novelty" (if we can call it that) is the almost certain use of the new font San Francisco indicating the letters of the keys, as on the keyboard on the new MacBook.

These would be the first Apple products to use Bluetooth 4.2, Macs, iPads and iPhones use Bluetooth 4.0 while the new iPod touch equipped with Bluetooth 4.1.

These products would hardly be announced at an event, since we are talking about accessories which can even be launched on the Apple website without any fanfare as happened yesterday with the new L / XL sports bracelet and the additional kit of the bracelet with links.

That is, the wireless keyboard also has an internal lithium-ion battery.

The mouse image has now been modified and now shows a rectangular object (most likely at Apple's request after it saw the information gaining media).

Below we see that the external images and accessories manuals will only be revealed by the FCC on February 10, 2016.

Does this date have any connection with an Apple event in which the company plans to launch new products? Or are we just looking at a long time for everything to be revealed at the FCC only after the accessories reach the market?
