What to do when your phone starts to crash? Meet six solutions

If there is something that takes a person out of the serious, that thing is the smartphone start to hang. It may be the top line of the year, last year's intermediate, a simpler one just released, it doesn't matter. The eye twitches, the heart beats and the anger rises. Calm down, let's try to solve this problem in a few steps.

Step 1 – Investigate and Restart

Already throwing the device off the wall is not the most suitable solution, as well as already going after a precipitous format. Take a deep breath and look at it coldly. A great first attitude is to restart the device. Yes, just turning off the device and turning it back on can put in place corrupted information that was causing the crashes and you don't even have to finish reading what you got.

Step 2 – Keeping an Eye on the Apps

Many people soon blame the device and the system for the crashes, but what have you been installing on it? Check out everything that has been installed for a while and the new apps. Sometimes an older app has been updated and the new version is not getting along with your device.

Or, then, the number one cause of crashes: new installed apps that, although they were reported to be "compatible" by the Play Store, were not entirely and have come to disrupt the entire system because of its operation. Remember which ones you installed last and delete them from your smartphone. Clean up apps on your smartphone and see if the problem persists.

Step 3 – Open Space

Another common cause of crashes is lack of space. Despite using RAM to manage information, the system needs maneuvering storage space to allocate some information, and the lack of that space can mess up everything.

If you already followed the previous step and uninstalled some apps, you may have already opened some space. If you didn't take anything, maybe it's time to clean up that WhatsApp image folder, your personal photos and videos, and even cache your device (for that, go to "Settings", then "Storage", following "Data in Cache ". Click on it and confirm the message to clear this cache).

Step 4 – Clean Up the Mess

Ok, wasn't that enough either? So let's clean up the mess on your device. Remove widgets from home, throw away useless or useless apps, put in a static wallpaper (if you're using an animated one), upgrade your system and any leftover apps, and remove any installed themes and icon packs.

In this step, anything that might be interfering with the system or overloading processing should be disabled or eliminated. This even includes a microSD card. If it is not of good origin or of good speed, it can lead to locking in the device.

Step 5 – Reformatting Can Help

If none of this worked, unfortunately it can be something deeper. Sometimes, even by uninstalling the agent that caused the crashes, some residual information remains and can only be removed with a reformat, a factory reset.

Back up everything that matters: photos, videos, files, app lists, and more, and turn off the device as it came from the factory. Then check to see if, with nothing installed, the locks have stopped. V reinstalling app by app and watching the behavior of the smartphone.

Step 6 – Time to Breathe New Air

And if you followed the previous five steps and nothing worked, unfortunately there is nothing more to do. Either your device is outdated with current apps and system, or it has a physical hardware problem. The best option here is to take a service or, perhaps, leave this device for another use and purchase a new one.
