What if the iPhone SE had a “Plus” version, without the Home button and with the screen occupying its entire front?

With all these years following the world of Apple, we can say that when there are rumors related to a product, there are traces of reality. And that will intensify as the device’s release date approaches.

Taking advantage of fanned rumors, the imagination of designers and enthusiasts materializes in videos and images of concepts so incredible that, in most cases, we hope it is the truth – or at least a part of it.

The notable little iPhone SE, announced in March 2016, has not been updated this year and, although some may theorize, there are no tangible rumors that a new version of it will appear, mainly with the suspicion that Apple will now continue to increase the screens of its smartphones.

That doesn’t mean, of course, that we can’t dream, does it? And that’s what the designers of CURVED / labs did when presenting the concept of a “IPhone SE Plus”.

Yes, iPhone X is beautiful and cool, and iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus impress too, but in the keynote in Cupertino they forgot about a particular smartphone. A successor to the iPhone SE. CURVED / labs tried to make up for it.

This concept shows a device with the same size and shape as the well-known iPhone SE, but with several features of the iPhone X. Instead of having a 4 ″ screen, the “SE Plus” would have a 4.7 ″ OLED screen, already taking advantage of the space of the Home button that would not be present in this model either.

In addition, the “SE Plus” would also feature TrueDepth technology on the front camera and a dual camera system on the rear. But unlike the iPhone that was just announced, the “SE Plus” would have a myriad of colors, including some options with the white front.

And, since it is a concept, it is to do it right, right? I mean, since in fact the Touch ID integrated into the screen did not come on the real iPhone, what prevents it from being placed on a fictitious device? Nothing – which is why the feature also appears in “SE Plus”.

Yes, it is extremely fun to look at it and catch a glimpse of what could have been or could be in the distant (not so?) Future. If we are really going to see a new version of the iPhone SE, we cannot predict it, but as its own name indicates, we may really need to say goodbye to this format once and for all, unfortunately.
