IOS (formerly called iPhone OS) is an exclusive operating system for Apple devices. Being a software for mobile devices, it is based on the concept of direct manipulation. This means the interaction is done by touching the screen, such as sliding one or more fingers to perform different actions. The operating versions of the program are released annually and iOS 13 is already in the testing phase, with official release scheduled for September this year.

2. What does the word iOS mean?
The word iOS comes from the acronym "OS" (English Operating System), plus the letter "i", which represents Apple products such as iPhone, iPad, iPod and iMac. It is through this program that the company's mobile devices work, which does not officially allow their use on third party hardware. IOS competes directly with Google's operating system, Android.
3. How was iOS created and what is your story?
Apple's first mobile system was named iPhone OS 1 and was the company's exclusive smartphone. Launched by Steve Jobs, this first verse was essential to the development of the multitouch and for the new ideas that came up over time. In 2010, with the release of its fourth update, the system was renamed iOS, precisely because it is no longer unique to the iPhone.

5. Which verses were most striking?
One of the most striking versions of Apple's mobile system was the iPhone OS 1, which became the basis for new program updates. Another turn of the page in the company's story was iOS 4, which marked the platform's name change. The software implemented FaceTime and made it easy to perform more than one task at a time (multitasking). These news were fundamental to make the system what it today.
