How about comparing, in an easy way, the prices of iPhone 6s in all countries where Apple sells the product? Or, who knows, the 12-inch MacBook? Meet the AppleCompass.
Regardless if you are planning to travel and buy a product from Ma abroad or just want to make comparisons yourself, the site is a hand on those wheels!
Assuming that you choose Brazil as the country of origin, when selecting the product, AppleCompass will list locations (cities / countries) with more affordable prices, the amounts (in reais) charged there (including taxes) and how much you save (both in reais and as a percentage).
As I said, the values already include local taxes, but they do not take into account the 50% Brazilian customs tax (which is applied on Macs and iPads purchased abroad and which exceed the quota of US $ 500). Still, it is still a great tool, leaving no doubt that we pay a lot, but very expensive for Apple's products here (which, let's face it, is nothing new).
In the tests carried out here (iPhone 6s, MacBook and Apple Watch Sport), the values were very much in line with reality, even taking into account the new values of the Apple Watch Sport. Here's the tip! 😉
