Watch iOS 12 become a kind of Android in this interesting concept

Although most of us have not put our hands on it, it is already possible to have a very clear idea of how to be iOS 11 our journals compiled from screenshots of each beta of the system, incidentally, are quite an ally in this task. Although we do not know exactly how the new system adapts to the, say, unorthodox design of the “iPhone 8”, it is inevitable to ask: what about the future?

Well, the Prince Studio You must have asked yourself the same question, because you have already tried to make an interesting concept of how to be the (likely) iOS 12 running on the (also likely) future iPhone. People there in Israel have a lot of intriguing ideas about the future of the system, some of them, even, extremely reminiscent of Android (which is by no means a bad thing).

Let's analyze the situation in more detail below (prepare your finger to roll over the concept!):

IOS 12 num concept

First of all, let's pay attention to what the stadium thinks about the new “iPhone 8” design: as well as most mockups released so far, they chose to make a black status bar that hides the cutout on the screen (and, again, no sign of the clock); at the bottom, a virtual Home button is always present, flanked by two buttons practically imported from the robot system: left, a dedicated multitasking button and, right, a universal “back” button, something that iOS has always disowned, incidentally.

The concept indicates a screen technology always-on, showing important information, such as notifications and clock, permanently. Already on the lock screen, the notifications would be (finally) grouped into apps, with specific interaction options for each app. The home screen, in turn, would be (also) much more similar to that of Android, with a “free” layout, endowed with widgets and small status indicators.

The phone application would gain a new look, with actions based on 3D Touch, and phone calls would become non-intrusive, occupying only a small frame at the top of the screen during the call. Switching between apps will be done using a “quick switch”, a sidebar evoked by a slide of the finger from the left edge, or the new card-based multitasking screen.

Other novelties would include a “Guest Mode”, which would allow the owner of the device to hand it over to third parties with limited functionality and access, a way to block apps individually by Touch ID (which, at least here, is embedded in the screen) a bar. “expanded” status that would be accessed with a brief swipe of the finger from the top and a completely renewed universal dark mode that would affect the entire system, save battery (since OLED turns off black pixels) and would be much more user friendly our retinas.

And, did you like it?
