Want to listen to music and charge the new iPhone at the same time? With this adapter you can [atualizado: podia]

It was not hard to predict that with the removal of the 3.5mm output of the iPhone 7, many solutions would appear here and there to try to fill this gap. For those who complain that it is not possible to listen to music with their old headphones and charge the new iPhone at the same time, I present them with iLDOCK.

The iLDOCK contains one Lightning and one 3.5mm port, and is quite portable. It can come in silver, gold, rose gold and space gray (unfortunately, no black options). For sure, what is most attractive in iLDOCK is its price. At Kickstarter, you can get one and help the project from $ 10!

In addition, the designers also offer a more ‚Äústurdy‚ÄĚ version of the adapter. Called ‚ÄúiLDOCK Plus‚ÄĚ, this option has, in addition to the 3.5mm Lightning port, a USB, an SD card reader and a microSD card. With no need to install apps, the connector can display photos and videos from USB sticks and cards directly on iPhone.

For now, the Apple Certified product (Made For iPhone, or MFi), but the team says they are working to get it approved.

The Kickstarter project had a target of just $ 5,000 and has raised nearly $ 20,000 with 1,040 supporters! If you liked the proposal and would like to purchase the adapter and support the project, you still have 27 days until the deadline to contribute values ‚Äč‚Äčstarting at $ 10. The first are expected to be delivered from November.

According to an email received by Cleber borgesreader which contributed to iLDOCK, the project was unfortunately suspended.

The email sent by Kickstarter to supporters states that the reason for the suspension of the project was one or more of the following reasons:

  • Offer to purchase items claiming that they were created by themselves;
  • Present someone else's work as yours;
  • Not presenting or disclosing relevant facts about the project or its creator.

One of the people in the project comments section still says that it is possible to buy from the iLDOCK website and that in the "seller" information, a Chinese name () appears. On the project page itself, however, there is no information other than the suspension of the contribution.

Fortunately, Kickstarter only charges backers when the deadline and investment target are reached. This means that no one was harmed by the process; the charge has been canceled for all those who agreed to contribute.
