Vodafone reveals iPhone 3G S prices

(2nd update) Vodafone has just announced the prices of the new iPhone 3G S that will start selling tomorrow, when stores open. The first customers to receive the new Apple terminal are those who pre-registered from 3 July.

Optimus also released prices, about an hour later, but only for the sale of loyalty-free terminals.

Prices have been kept secret, but the values ​​that the two operators reveal are the same: Without loyalty, the terminals cost 609.90 and 699.90, for the 16GB and 32GB versions in two colors, black and white.

In the case of Vodafone, anyone who wants to subscribe to postpaid plans for 24 months, can purchase the equipment for prices between 229.90 and 459.90 euros. Optimus has not yet released these plans, which it probably only reveals at midnight, with the opening of stores for the first sales.

Vodafone also maintains the iPhone Additives, which it had already launched last year with the iPhone 3G, now with prices starting at 10 euros per month.

There are also iPhone plans for subscribers, the best iPhone, or rechargeable ones, the Vita iPhone. The best iPhone plans include 500 MB of navigation, minutes and SMS for communication, as well as ease of cost control and the Family Option, with calls at zero cents between members of the same account.

The Vita iPhone plans also include 500 MB of traffic and SMS for the Vodafone network, the Customer being able to choose a plan with equal rates for all networks or preferential for Vodafone.

Contrary to what AT&T did in the US, the price of the previous iPhone 3G version will not go down. Vodafone will keep selling this terminal, in the 8 GB version, which can be purchased for 509.9 euros without loyalty, and from 139.9 with a 24-month term.

The prices are the same as those practiced at the launch of the iPhone 3G in July last year, at the time they were communicated with a discount of 10 euros for the resumption of the old equipment.

It is recalled that AT&T lowered the price of the iPhone 3G to 45 euros after the launch of the new version, but with an obligation of loyalty for 24 months.
