Vodafone Portugal grows 5.5% in the third quarter of the year. Services was the one that contributed most

Vodafone Portugal presented the results for the third quarter of the year, relative to October and December, referring to a sharp growth in the Services business area. The operator justifies the performance by stabilizing the mobile business, as well as the sustained growth in the fixed line, namely pay TV.

This growth translates into 247 million euros in revenue from Services, corresponding to an increase of 5.9% compared to the same period of 2018. The same quarter also represented a global growth, with an increase of 5.5% in revenues total, that is, 275 million euros.

The company reports that the total fixed customer base increased 9.7%, compared to the same period last year, totaling 772 thousand accounts, of which 664 thousand are TV customers, a sector that registered an increase of 11.4% compared to 2018. In total, Vodafone Portugal claims that its fiber has already reached 3.4 million households and companies. Not so expressive, the company also registered a growth of 1.2%, compared to the same period of 2018, in relation to mobile business customers, totaling 4.7 million users.
