Vivaldi browser comes to Android

One of the darling browsers among the crowd has just received its version for the little green robot, Android.

With its famous slogan Vivaldi: The browser that puts you in control, the browser is known for having several features (which in other browsers require the installation of some plugin) and in these years of existence has been competing directly with Opera.

The scenario of web browsers is vast, whether on mobile or desktop platforms. Vivaldi took a long time, but finally entered the Android world. Don't expect the same number of features on Android compared to your PC version, at least at this very first moment.

Take a look at the interview we had with Vivaldi founder and CEO Jon von Tetzchner some time ago, and learn more about the browser concept / premise.

Some highlights of this mobile version are:

  • Data Sync: Keep bookmarks, passwords, notes and more. Synchronized between your devices with end-to-end encryption;
  • One Touch Favorites: Speed ‚Äč‚ÄčDial, as well as the desktop version, is also present. You can customize your favorite pages and always when opening a new tab, Speed ‚Äč‚ÄčDial will be present for quick access;
  • Grades: Vivaldi allows you to create notes without opening a new app;
  • Page Capture: You can capture only the visible areas of a site or the whole page;
  • Private browsing: While browsing with private guides, searches, websites visited, cookies and temporary files are not recorded by Vivaldi;
  • Instant Search: Use nicknames in the address field to quickly change the search engine. For example, type w for Wikipedia or d to access DuckDuckGo (we even made a search about DuckDuckGo, access and learn more).
