There are also differences in OLED technology, which in Series 4 has the suffix LTPO (Low Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide, or low temperature polycrystalline oxide), which basically helps the watch to use less battery. In addition, even with the screen slightly larger, the Watch's total volume has decreased compared to the Series 3, in addition to being slightly thinner (10.7mm versus 11.4mm).
