Video: developer makes Apple Watch run Apple operating system from 20 years ago

We reached the point of having a “computer” attached to our wrist. Yes, despite being a watch, the Apple Watch it has all the components that a computer needs, of course, miniaturized to the extreme, something that was only possible to do now, in the middle of the 21st century.

Doubt? Well then see what developer Nick Lee did. He simply hacked an Apple Watch running watchOS 2 and made the watch run a version of System 7.5.5 (operating system used on the Power Macintosh 5500 and released in September 1996) using the Mini vMac emulator.

It was necessary to have a machine like the one above to run System 7.5.5; now, just a 38-42mm computer is enough for this. Incredible, isn't it?
