Video: Apple refuses to fix iMac Pro with broken screen

O iMac Pro beautiful and super powerful, but quite limited in terms of upgrades and, obviously, expensive bea.

A curiosity that emerged shortly after its launch is that the AppleCare + warranty plan of the iMac Pro is exactly the same as the normal iMac and costs, in the United States, US $ 169. Apple probably saw no need to charge more for this because we are talking about a desktop machine, which does not run the same accident risks as an iPhone, for example.

See you, beauty. What would you have to imagine that the company is simply not prepared to deal with these exceptional cases of iMacs Pro breaking, like the video above reported by the channel staff Linus Tech Tips.

They broke the glass of the iMac Pro's screen (and take full blame, obviously) and, as anyone would, took the nearest Apple Store computer for repair. After evaluation, Apple simply refused to repair the machine because it did not even have parts to do so.

It is clear that this type of repair has to be paid for by the customer and I imagine that it was not at all cheap (even, bad luck for them), but Apple's refusing to fix a shame. A product cannot be put on the market with this lack of preparation for support.

The situation reminds me of my “S” key, equally absurd for Apple to force the customer to pay for a very expensive set of pieces (in my case, all the top case MacBook Pro) to fix on a single key. None of this matches the praise post-sale of the company.
