Speed up a video from your mobile phone with the FILMR app. The editor allows you to change the speed of the video, reproducing the images faster or in slow motion, ideal for creating special effects and publishing on social networks. Edits are made easily and can be applied to the entire clip or to a specific portion using a speed-changing tool just by swiping the screen. The user can use files imported from the gallery or freshly captured video with the smartphone camera, either vertically or horizontally.

Step 1. Download FILMR from the TechTudo Downloads page. Open the app and on the home screen touch Camera Roll to select a video from the gallery or Camera to record a video. Select the desired video and tap Continue to start editing;

Step 2. Using the arrow keys, mark the section you want to accelerate. If you want to apply the effect to the entire video, I don't need to do this step;

Step 3. Tap the filter icon to add effects. Then select the Speed option;

Step 4. Drag the level to the right to increase the playback speed of the video clip. If desired, drag left to slow down. Finish in the cone of;

Step 5. Use the arrow keys again to make the video the original size the edited portion will remain with the acceleration effect. If you only want to save the edited portion, you do not need to perform this step;

Step 6. Tap the play icon to watch a preview of the result. If necessary, make adjustments to achieve the desired effect;

Step 7. Use the top menu tools to add music, text and change the video format. To download the clip to the gallery or upload via social networks, tap the share icon.
