After selling all shares of S3 Graphics to HTC and further heating Apple's legal fights with Apple, Taiwanese firm VIA Technologies has now filed a direct lawsuit against Ma.
VIA accuses Apple of violating three of its patents in the United States, all related to microprocessors used in iPads, iPhones and iPods touch (Apple A4 and A5 chips, therefore). "The products in question generally involve microprocessors used in a variety of electronic products such as certain smartphones, tablet computers, portable media players and other computing devices," she said.
As usual, the company wants justice to prove the sale of iGadgets and go to fight for an open trial.
