The German website Netbooknews.de claims to have obtained (from reliable sources in Asia) the final specifications of the new Sony VAIO Pocket: it has an Atom Z520 processor of 1.33GHz, 2GB of RAM, HD as standard drive (and SSD as optional), GPS module and card WWAN for 3G network. Everything costs around 700 euros (approximately R $ 2,260). The keyboard with the trackpoint also appears to be more than confirmed.
In addition, Sony sent a new teaser (image above) with the title “A new light is coming” for Hong Kong customers of the MySony program. Its presentation during CES, in Las Vegas, is scheduled for January 7, when the new VAIO Pocket is expected to be presented.
Now, all we have to do is wait and see what this machine looks like.
