You can use Google Translate on Facebook Messenger with a few steps. The Google Android app has a feature capable of translating texts from the mobile download area. The interesting "Tap to translate" function to instantly convert conversations into messengers such as Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp. When you enable the function, the Google translation app icon appears on the screen whenever something is copied. Just tap the button to get translation without having to leave the app.

Step 1. Open Google Translate and tap the menu button in the upper left corner of the screen. Then tap "Settings". To perform the procedure you must be logged in with a Google account;

Step 3. Tap "Enable" to confirm. The Android Settings app will open. There, you need to enable the "Allow overlapping other apps" option;

Step 4. Access Facebook Messenger and locate the message you want to translate. Touch and hold your finger for a moment. Then go to "Copy" in the lower left corner of the screen;

Step 5. The Google Translate icon will appear in the upper right corner of the screen. Tap on it to see the translation of the copied message. The source language will be set automatically. If you want to change it, just tap on the detected language. Finally, tap on the "X" to close the translation and return conversation.
