Unity Engine 5.3 for Linux

Unity Technologies, developer of the popular Unity game engine, has announced an updated Linux version of its publisher. Based on version 5.3.1, the new "Unity Engine" brings Linux users a number of enhancements and fixes. Major modifications include integration with web-based browser games and improved support for OpenGL.

The release for Windows and Mac was announced at the end of 2015, while the release for Linux is still coming out a few weeks after the release for other systems, but this should be stabilized over time.

The only distribution officially supported by Unity Technologies is Ubuntu, with a .deb installer, however they have prepared an installed SH for any other GNU / Linux based system, so even if you don't use Ubuntu you can enjoy Unity, it's worth remembering It is also only compatible with 64-bit systems.
