Ugreen launches portable USB charger for Apple Watches

If you have a Apple Watch most recent, probably the battery life of the gadget is one of your least concerns. I, for example, have an Apple Watch Series 4 (GPS) and I can use it – except for physical activities – for more than two days without recharging it.

However, there are no batteries that last forever and, depending on its use, it is normal that the time for the watch to complete a complete cycle will decrease, just like in others gadgets like iPhones and Macs. For that reason, it is always recommended to have a charger with you to give extra time for your device.

You must be thinking “but there are cables from Apple”. Let’s face it: they are not the smallest or the toughest chargers out there. Thinking about it, the manufacturer of accessories and peripherals Ugreen launched its own wireless charger compatible with all models of Apple Watches.

The accessory is MFi certified and has a USB-A port that allows you to connect it to a notebook or to the outlet (from an adapter). It also has a USB-C version that should be launched next May, also including MacBook owners. [Air/Pro] most recent.

As we said, it works with all Apple Watch models, from 38mm to 44mm. The charger powers the watch at the same speed as the original Apple from the 5V output (with 1A), in addition to having protections against over current, over voltage, short circuit and over temperature.

For not being a powerbank, Ugreen’s wireless charger only recharges the Apple Watch, meaning it is not able to store battery, as illustrated in the video above. The device is sold by Amazon for $ 40 – in addition to the cost of shipping to Brazil, of course.
