New version of Ubuntu brings news and improvements, which will please a large portion of users of the system.
The long awaited Ubuntu version 19.10 arrived this Thursday (17th) and, bringing great news and promised improvements. We covered Beta's release and also the new version of the Yaru theme, for example.
This new version brings major improvements over the last two versions, 18.04 and 19.04, as the new Kernels and GNOME. Remember that verse 19.10 is supported for 9 months only.
The first point we can mention is the inclusion of NVIDIA's newest proprietary drivers in ISO, thereby making life easier for those with a company GPU. Especially owners of hybrid notebooks.
Second, we can talk about including, even experimentally, the ZFS file system natively. Booting is also faster, thanks to back-end decompression technologies.
Other news and improvements:
Possibility to create folders with applications inside the GNOME-Shell menu, similar to the graphic interfaces of mobile phones;
Linux kernel 5.3;
Intel HDR display support for Icelake, Geminilake;
Mozilla Firefox 69;
GNOME Calendar 3.34;
Initial Support for AMD Navi GPUs
