Drivers will have access to a fee-free digital account where payments with updated balance are deposited in real time. According to the company, the worker will have access to the amount paid right after a race and the amounts can be spent on Uber Debit, a debit card that offers cashback of 3% at gas stations in the US, or 6% for Uber Pro. .

It is not yet known what would be the molds of any Brazilian versions of Uber's card and digital account. According to the company, drivers have been requesting the possibility to deny races with cash payment and only accept cards. Tests in this sense are already taking place in Campo Grande, Cuiab, Joo Pessoa, So Jos dos Campos (SP), So Lus, Sorocaba (SP) and Ribeiro Preto (SP). In the coming weeks, the experiment will be expanded to Mogi Guau, Bragana Paulista and Marlia.

Nevertheless, the offer of a faster deposit payment solution is not new in the country. Rival 99 already has Carto99, a debit card with which drivers who work for the company can make purchases or withdraw money from same-day trips.

Focused solely on end users, the Uber Credit credit card is non-annual and offers a 5% rebate on all company services, such as racing, Eats, scooters, motorcycles and electric bicycles, in addition to Uber Copter. You can also get a 3% refund on hotels, accredited airlines and restaurants, and an additional 1% on all purchases where 5% and 3% returns do not apply. By spending $ 500 in the first three months, the card also yields $ 100 back.

According to the company, the user can redeem any card value to the Uber account and manage everything through the digital wallet. For every $ 50 accrued, the amount automatically transfers to your Uber account. The amount can be used to spend on company services.
