It's important to note that you must have access to the email and that it needs to be the same as registered in your Twitter account. Another tip that the user must be connected to the microblog in the same browser as to download the file. You can also view old tweets through the advanced search tool, but the feature is only available on the web version of the microblog.

Step 1. Access the Twitter app on your Android or iPhone (iOS) phone. Then touch your profile icon and then "Settings and privacy" at the bottom of the menu;

Step 2. Tap "Account" and then "Your Twitter Data";

Step 3. Enter your Twitter password and tap "Confirm". Then select the option "Request file";

Step 4. On the screen will be displayed a warning that the download be sent to your registered Twitter email. After receiving the email, click "Download";

Note that it may take a few days for the user to receive the email with the download. Another reminder that the person will not be able to make the same request for 30 days.

Step 5. Log in to your Twitter account and tap "Download Data";

Step 6. Tap "Get" and then go to your phone's download folder. Tap the file to access it;

Step 7. Select all ZIP files and tap "Unzip". By doing so, you will be able to see all your Twitter data, including old tweets.
